This happens when the external air temperature has risen faster than the temperature of the exterior surface of the glass. The moisture in the warm air condenses on the cool surface. It looks odd, but it’s a sign that the insulation provided by your windows is working well – the heat is staying indoors and not getting as far as that exterior glass surface.
