A drive to have extremely well-insulated, draught-free homes has meant we have reduced the amount of air movement around them. A certain amount of water vapour is unavoidable, particularly around kitchens and bathrooms, but simple measures like opening windows when possible, using extractor fans and choosing night vents for bedroom windows helps to keep things manageable.
