Environmental management incorporates adherence to the requirements of the environmental management system BSI EN ISO 14001:2004.

Life-cycle optimisation recognises Profile 22’s commitment to offer sustainable whole life costings.  PVC-U manufactured in accordance with BS 7412 is expected to last in excess of 40 years according to the BSI. Research shows PVC-U can be recycled more than ten times, equating to a potential lifespan of over 400 years.

Our recently launched 100% recycled window system RECO22 is a real breakthrough for the British window industry.  Manufactured from 100% post-consumer waste material, the RECO22 system has been awarded the Building Research Establishment (BRE) A+ rating for all sectors including domestic housing in the Green Guide. 

PVC-U windows as standard now also achieve an A+ rating for commercial buildings and an A rating for domestic properties in the Green Guide to Specification.
