Understanding the new Construction Act from 1st October 2011

A seminar was held at Profile 22 training centre on the 27th September on the new Construction Act. Aimed at Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Commercial Managers to equip them with an overall commercial appreciation of the changes to the Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (The Construction Act).

The seminar informed our Approved Commercial Manufacturers network of the changes such as contracts no longer being required to be in writing and changes to payment regimes.
