If you’re a fabricator with customers in Scotland, Southern England or Ireland, 60mm profile probably accounts for almost half of your business.
As a UK systems company, our market is focused on the UK and Ireland, and while many European systems houses have dropped their 60mm systems and others look uncertain, we realise the demand for 60mm is still strong.
For example, in Northern Ireland, building regulations only allow for a maximum depth of 68mm, so a 70mm system, requires time-consuming ‘cutting back’ and making good. Our FC60 system delivers far greater fitting tolerances, meaning quick, simple installation for you and less disruption for the homeowner.
In the new build sector, 60mm systems appeal due to cost-effective product delivery, while a slim frame maximises glass area, supporting thermal performance.
Similarly, in Ireland, Scotland and Southern England, and specialist markets such as static homes and caravans, timber frame and steel (Crittall-type) replacements, our FC60 suite’s slimmer frame has greater aesthetic appeal in areas where a 70mm system would look out of place.
