The PVCaware.org campaign from the BPF Windows Group promotes awareness of the versatility of PVC as a material and also of PVC-U windows.

PVC is one of the world’s most versatile and sustainable materials and is found in virtually every walk of life.  It is particularly suited to products such as windows, pipes, floor coverings and cables, as well as a growing number of applications in the field of medicine.  It is low in its use of resources, production costs are moderate and it has low-maintenance requirements.

PVC, especially when used in such products as window and door frames, may be continuously recycled in a closed loop with the recycled material being used again and again in new window frames and other building products. Watch our recycling video for more info.
